Course description
This course aims to introduce students to the historical framework, society (aspects of life and death) art and material culture (architecture, sculpture and pottery) of the Prehistoric and Greek Classical World. By the end of the course students should have a broad knowledge of the Greek antiquity, understand and identify different painting, sculpture and architectural styles, use the knowledge to organise and make the most out of potential visits to places covered in the course.
